Managing Active Directory accounts
The following Active Directory account types are available in KYDSO:
Internal Account ![]() | Active Directory account that belongs to an internal employee This account type is created automatically when a new employee is imported into KYDSO via the interface. For employees who have left the company, the Active Directory account is initially deactivated automatically and finally deleted from the Active Directory after a defined retention period.

External Account ![]() | Active Directory account that belongs to an external employee This account type is created automatically when a new external employee is created in KYDSO. For employees who have left the company, the Active Directory account is initially deactivated automatically and finally deleted from the Active Directory after a defined retention period.

Technical Account ![]() | Active Directory account for a service access or similar.

Privileged account
| Active Directory account for special access rights This account type can be used to define customer-specific accounts (e.g. administrator account) and then create dedicated accounts for individual employees. For employees who have left the company, the Active Directory account is initially deactivated automatically and then finally deleted from the Active Directory after 30 days. |
