Define new third-party system account type

A third-party system account is an account that is not maintained in the Active Directory, but in another system (e.g. SAP).

You must first define a third-party system account (e.g. SAP account) that you want to manage in KYDSO as a separate account type.

Notice

The definition of new third-party system account types is only possible by users who are created as persons in KYDSO with an associated Active Directory account.

In the Order menu, select whether you need the third-party system account for yourself or for another person.

The wizard for the selected action starts and guides you through the process.

  1. Framework data

The values Customer Costcenter and Customer Location must be entered in the Costcenter and Location fields, otherwise the third-party system account type cannot be ordered.

  2. Article selection

Use search terms to find and select the article you are looking for.

You can define several third-party system account types at the same time by clicking Select article again until the desired number of third-party system account types is in the article list.

  3. If additional data is required, this will be requested.

It is mandatory to enter a name in German and English (e.g. SAP-Konto/SAP Account) for each third-party system account type. Assign a name with which users of the web application can clearly identify the third-party system account type.

The other fields are optional. You cannot edit the description afterwards.

  4. In the last step, check your entries again and trigger the order.

After the order has been completed, the third-party system account is created as an account type in KYDSO and you as the orderer are entered as the person responsible.

You can then:
