Deactivate account in AD

You can manually deactivate an account that is temporarily not being used (e.g. during an employee's time off).

Notice

For employees who have left the company (internal and external), the associated account is automatically deactivated. Manual deactivation is not necessary.

  1. In the Change menu, click on the Deactivate account in AD action.

    The asset list opens. For performance reasons, this is empty the first time it is opened after starting KYDSO.

  2. Search for the desired account.

  3. Click on Deactivate account in AD for the desired account.

    A page opens with an overview of the order.

After you have triggered the change, the account is deactivated in the Active Directory.
