Managing responsible persons for third-party system account

You can define persons who are responsible for managing and providing the third-party system accounts.

These persons are automatically stored as processors of the work orders for the selected third-party system account type and can name or remove other responsible persons.

To change the responsible persons:
  1. Click on the View assets action in the View data menu.

The asset list opens. For performance reasons, this is empty the first time it is opened after starting KYDSO.

  2. Search for the desired third-party system account.

For example, enter the term third-party system in the Article field and the name of the third-party system account in German (e.g. SAP account) in the Name field.

  3. Click Details at the desired third-party system account.

In the Role owner - Data owner area, you can see all persons who are allowed to manage entitlements for this third-party system account.

  4. Click on Show entitlements.

A window opens with the list of persons who are currently stored as a person responsible for the third-party system account.

If you want to remove an entitlement, select the desired person from the drop-down list and click on Apply selection. The selected person will be taken over for the next step.

  5. Click on Manage entitlements.

The wizard for managing entitlements starts and guides you through the following steps:

    1. Service recipient

If the correct selected person has already been entered, you can proceed directly to the next step.

Otherwise, search for the person who is to be added or removed as responsible person and click on Select person at the desired person.

    2. Manage entitlements

Select or deselect the Responsible person entitlement.

    3. No further data is required.

    4. In the last step, check your entries again and initiate the change.

The selected person is then automatically granted or revoked access to the open work orders and the management of the responsible persons for the third-party system account.
