Managing third-party system accounts

A third-party system account is an account that is not maintained in the Active Directory, but in another system (e.g. SAP).

The desired third-party system account type (e.g. SAP account) must first be defined: Define new third-party system account type

For the management of each third-party system account type, you can define...

  • which persons are responsible for providing the associated third-party system accounts.

These persons are automatically stored as processors of the work orders for the selected third-party system account type and can name or remove other responsible persons.

  • which third-party system account types are part of an employee's basic equipment.

These user accounts continue to be maintained in the respective third-party system. KYDSO supports you in the administration by also creating these accounts in the assets and thus managing them centrally. A corresponding work order is created in KYDSO for the required maintenance activities.

Konzept Fremdsystem-Accounts

New third-party system account is required

  • You can order the third-party system account for employees in KYDSO.

Third-party system account types, which are part of the basic equipment, are automatically ordered when an employee joins the company.

  • A work order is then generated to create the account in the third-party system.

  • Once the work order has been completed, the third-party system account is created in the employee's assets.

Employee data changes

  • If certain employee data changes, corresponding work orders are automatically generated for the assigned third-party system accounts.

  • Once the work order has been completed, the third-party system account is updated in the employee's assets.

Existing third-party system account is no longer required

  • You can terminate a third-party system account that is no longer required.

For all employees who have left the company, the associated third-party system accounts are automatically terminated.

  • A work order is then generated to remove the user account from the third-party system.

  • Once the work order has been completed, the third-party system account is deactivated in the employee's assets.
