Correct the account type

Use this correction for cases in which the wrong account type was selected when assigning the specific account type.

To correct an incorrectly assigned account type:
  1. In the Change menu, select the Correct account type action.

    If this is not displayed in the menu, click on Other changes and select the action there.

  2. Search for the desired account.

  3. Click on Correct account type for the desired account.

    • The wizard for the selected action starts and guides you through the process.

    Notice

    Alternatively, you can click on Details to display the account information first.

  4. Assign the correct account type to the account:

    • Select Internal account if the account belongs to an internal employee.

      In this case, you also select the corresponding internal employee.

    • Select External account if the account belongs to an external employee.

      In this case, the corresponding external employee is created automatically.

    • Select Technical account if it is a service access or similar.

Once you have triggered the change, the account is switched to the correct account type.
